1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ - Superduty 1-Ton Swap
4.0L, AW4, NP231 - replaced (last fall) oil pan gasket, rear main seal, and installed Melling high volume oil pump. Runs and shifts well. NP231 has hack and tap SYE, and large skid plate. No leaks of any kind from the Jeep.
Owned since 2010, garage kept, not your typical beater XJ. Drives at highway speeds without issue, built with intentions of applying to Ultimate Adventure. Heat works great, AC is all there but would need a recharge. Garage kept, body and underside is extremely clean.

Front Axle / Suspension - Custom 3-link with 1.5"x1x1/4" panhard bar mounted in double shear, 2008 Superduty Dana 60 - 5.38 Revolution gears/kit, Spartan Locker, Spicer 35-spline 1550 axleshafts, new Spicer ball joints, OEM lock-out hubs and Branik drive flanges. Barnes low profile pro series truss and high steer arms, 1-1/4" joints, 2"x1.5"x1/4" DOM links, Clayton Offroad spring seats, double shear track bar, custom track bar mount and materials. New braided brake lines, calipers, rotors, pads. Revolution differential cover, Lubelocker gasket.
Rear axle - 2008 Ford 10.5" housing, 5.38 Revolution gears/kit, Ford OEM E-locker/carrier, new braided brake lines and hard lines, new rotors/pads. Revolution differential cover, Lubelocker gasket. Barnes leaf spring perches, custom shock mounts, leaf springs.
Steering - West Texas Offroad hydraulic steering assist kit with new steering gear box, 1.5"x10" Ram, 50 degree steering, Derale heat sink steering fluid cooler, 7/8" heim steering kit from Barnes, Pitman Arm - 6.5" Throw - J10/Wagoneer, JCR steering box brace, new WJ pump.
Chassis - HD Offroad unibody stiffners and shackle relocation kit for the rear. Coil front (Rusty's) with Rocky Road Outfitters coil isolator. Rusty's Trail Bumpers front and rear. Circle S rear bumper brackets, tie into unibody and JCR gas tank skid, Appalachian Offroad transfer case skid. Bilstein shocks front and rear.
Interior - Corbeau Baja SS seats and harnesses, T&J Jeepspeed cage with additional harness bar and other cage work, tree sliders attached to top of cage, Raptor Liner floor, interior kept as stock looking as possible. Pioneer head unit, rear locker switch in dash.
Spares: driveshafts, 4.0L engine, transfer case.
Clear title in hand, priorities have shifted and it only gets used 1-2 times each year otherwise just sits in my garage. Not in any hurry to sell, 219-616-7003 for additional questions and pictures.
