Description
This one of a kind truggy was original built as a do all, conquer any terrain vehicle including deep snow. The windshield frame and doors are 85 Toyota. The frame is all DOM tube with triangulated 4 link suspension front and rear. Drive train:
Engine: 5.3 Chevy with Howell harness and tuning approx 325 HP
Transmission: NV4500
Transfer Case: Atlas 2 speed with 3.8 low with a NW fab black box if front with a 2.72 to 1 low
Front is a Dana 60 with Eaton E locker and 5.38 gears, chromoly 35 spline axles, Dynatrac locking hubs, Howe full hydro steering, Solid axle industries knuckles, high steer arms and cover. Billet hubs.
Rear is a 10.5" 14 bolt with Detroit locker and 5.38's with chromoly axles and disc brakes.
The suspension consists of 16" King coil overs and king bumps at all 4 corners with a currie anti rock rear sway bar.
Tires are 49 Iroks on 17x17 Stazworks double internal beadlocks.
The interior has a carbon fiber dash panel with autometer gauges and Toyota pickup heater controls connected to a Functional heater and defrost that will cook you out of the cab in frozen temps. It has heated Mastercraft seats with Crowe 5 point harnesses, the rear 3rd seat unpins for easy removal. It has a tilt removable steering wheel, onboard air compressor. LOUD stereo with kicker sub and amp.
There are Ramsey winches front and rear along with dual Optima yellow top batteries. It has Vision X lights front and rear with rock lights also. The panels on the front are carbon fiber they do need refinished the clear has bubbled on some.
I have only used it in the snow the last 3 winters, the ring and pinion’s and front locker only has one season on it. This thing is super versatile you could rock crawl, desert race,snow wheel, use it for search and rescue, offer a recovery service where no one else can go! It was featured in issue 35 in Crawl magazine.
